MEET THE TEAM: CHARLOTTE FIRMANN

Global Marketing Manager & French Market Lead with Re:Down since 2024

Her Path to Re:Down

After studying Luxury Marketing in Paris, Charlotte began her career in communication and marketing for several brands, within the Richemont Group, where she developed strong expertise in brand building and events.
Re:Down had long been part of her environment, as the company was co-founded by her father. Over time, joining the business became a natural step, an opportunity to contribute to a project combining textile innovation, circular economy, and brand development.

“What motivates me most is contributing to the evolution of the textile industry toward more responsible and circular solutions.”

A Day in Her Role

Charlotte starts her day by structuring priorities and organising her to-do list. Her role is highly transversal, spanning communication, brand partnerships, trade shows, and the development of the French market.

Her days move between exchanges with brands, project work, and ongoing initiatives such as the development of the new website, in collaboration with an external agency. A project aimed to better express Re:Down and Re:Wool’s circular approach.

Recycled Materials, Real Purpose

For Charlotte, working with recycled materials brings meaning beyond everyday environmental actions. Being part of a company that recovers natural resources and reintegrates them into the textile industry allows her to contribute on a larger scale.

“Our activity consists of recovering natural resources that would otherwise be considered waste and reintegrating them into the textile industry.”

Seeing these materials adopted by brands is particularly rewarding. Encountering products using Re:Down or Re:Wool in real life serves as a tangible reminder of the impact of her work.

Re:Down vs Re:Wool

Charlotte sees both programs as grounded in the same philosophy: transforming existing resources into high-performance insulation.
Both approaches show that innovation can also come from rethinking and reusing what already exists.

Proud Moments

Charlotte takes pride in increasing the visibility of Re:Down circular solutions, marking a step forward with each new brand collaboration.
She has also contributed to the repositioning of Re:Down and Re:Wool, helping make their approach clearer and more accessible.

People & Planet

Although her role focuses on marketing and business development, Charlotte sees it as directly connected to a broader mission: reducing waste and promoting a more efficient use of natural resources.
By raising awareness and building partnerships with brands, she contributes to increasing the presence of recycled materials in future textile products; a contribution that fits into a wider movement toward circularity.

Beyond Work

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys running, a passion she discovered two years ago. It has become an important way to clear her mind and challenge herself. Between midday and early afternoon, you might meet her running.
She also loves travelling, discovering new places, and spending time with friends: “These moments help me recharge and stay curious about the world around me.”
