Re:Wool® in Action:
First Collaborations Reach the Market

Turning circular innovation into real products is where credibility begins.

Following its introduction, Re:Wool®, Re:Down’s recycled wool insulation, has now moved beyond development and into its first commercial applications. A growing number of brands have started integrating the material into their collections, marking an important step from concept to in-store reality.

From Material Innovation to Finished Products

Developed from post-industrial wool waste, Re:Wool® was designed to offer a circular alternative to traditional insulation materials, combining performance, traceability, and resource efficiency.

Today, that proposition is being validated in the market.

Early collaborations include brands such as C’est Normal, Johnny Love, SWIMS, Snowlife, Faherty, K-Way (South Africa), PXG, Discovery, and Titleist; spanning lifestyle, outdoor, and performance segments.

Each of these partnerships reflects a shared objective: integrating recycled materials into products without compromising on design, functionality, or brand identity.

First Launches:
A Concrete Step Forward

Among the first visible applications, C’est Normal has introduced Re:Wool® into its collection with pieces such as The Quilted Overshirt.

This type of product illustrates the positioning of Re:Wool®:

  • A natural-based insulation
  • Suitable for lightweight outerwear and layering pieces
  • Aligned with a premium, minimalist aesthetic

More importantly, it demonstrates that circular materials can be seamlessly integrated into contemporary product design without requiring compromise.

Other collaborations, including Johnny Love, further confirm this direction, with Re:Wool® used in outerwear pieces designed for both performance and everyday use.

Additional developments with brands such as SWIMS and Snowlife (gloves) are underway, highlighting the potential of recycled wool insulation across different product categories.

Building a New Material Standard

While these first collaborations are still at an early stage, they highlight a broader shift.

Brands are moving from experimentation to integration.

Re:Wool® responds to several key industry challenges:

  • Reducing reliance on virgin raw materials
  • Valorising existing textile waste streams
  • Providing traceable and certified alternatives
  • Maintaining performance standards required by end products

In this context, the role of insulation materials becomes strategic. They are no longer just functional components, they contribute directly to a product’s environmental footprint and its narrative.

Consistency with Re:Down’s Circular Approach

The development of Re:Wool® follows the same principles that have guided Re:Down over the past decade:

  • Circular sourcing
  • Industrial scalability
  • Traceability and certification
  • Long-term brand partnerships

Together, they form a complementary offering, enabling brands to address different sourcing needs within a unified circular framework.

From First Products to Scaled Adoption

These initial collaborations represent more than product launches, they are validation points. They show that recycled wool insulation can move beyond pilot projects and enter real collections, across different markets and product categories.

As availability increases and applications expand, Re:Wool® is already positioned to follow a similar trajectory to Re:Down®.
