Who we are
A STORY OF FRIENDSHIP AND CONVICTIONS
Re:Down® was born from the meeting of two textile professionals, Éric Firmann and Tae Hwang, linked by a sincere friendship and a shared desire to do things differently.
For years, we observed from the inside the excesses of the textile industry: wasted natural resources, ever-longer supply chains, precious materials thrown away without a second thought.
We shared a conviction: down and feathers still have so much to offer, even at the end of their life cycle.
This is how we founded Re:Down®, with a simple but ambitious idea: to give new life to existing materials, while guaranteeing the same quality, performance and with less impact.

In our vision, waste should be recycled locally.
We recycle in Hungary the post-consumer goods collected in Europe and in China the Chinese textile waste.
Thanks to this international setup, we are close to all our customers, minimizing transport lead-time and CO2 impact.

A sustainable project is built step by step.
And Now?
Today, Re:Down® continues to grow with the same conviction as from the beginning: to do better with what already exists.
We believe in a more circular, more local, smarter industrial model.
And we know that it is with our customers, our partners and our teams that we can build this momentum.
Not alone. But together.
